Iowans for Tax Relief and Iowa Christian Alliance will host a presidential candidates forum on Saturday, June 30th in Des Moines. Republican presidential candidates Mitt Romney, Sam Brownback, Jim Gilmore, Mike Huckabee, Tommy Thompson, and Tom Tancredo will participate.
Ron Paul, however, will not participate. Why? Because he wasn’t invited.

Lew Moore, our campaign manager, called Mr. Edward Failor, an officer of Iowans for Tax Relief, to ask about it. To our shock, Mr. Failor told us Dr. Paul was not invited; he was not going to be invited; and he would not be allowed to participate. And when asked why, Mr. Failor refused to explain. The call ended.

This is disgusting. Contact information here on getting Ron Paul back in the Christian Alliance forum.

“…real national security cannot be achieved unless and until our borders are physically secured. It’s as simple as that. All the talk about fighting terror and making America safer is meaningless without border security. It makes no sense to seek terrorists abroad if our own front door is left unlocked.”

A New Yorker article is raising uncomfortable questions for the White House about what President Bush knew about the horrific abuse at Abu Ghraib, and when he knew it. General Taguba says Donald Rumsfeld has always known about the torture at Abu Ghraib and that the same policy was used in Guantanamo.

Mark it down for the history books: A non-partisan summary of significant court cases where it was ruled Bush’s “War on Terror” policies violated the US Constitution and/or exceeded his executive authority.

Looks like more e-mails have been deleted than previously thought from more than just a handful of people.
